Dear Campani Members along with their family members and Campani colleagues throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia,
The Italian Canadian Sports Federation (ICSF) is hosting the 6th. Annual Coppa Italia 2026 Soccer Tournament starting Friday June 19th, 2026 through to Sunday June 21st. 2026 at Vancouver`s Adanac Park.
The Tournament will comprise of (8) teams representing Regions of Italy that include Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Friuli, Puglia, Sicilia, and Veneto. Games will be played throughout the week/end, and a 2026 "Coppa Italia" champion will be crowned! The Campania team was successful in winning the title two years ago in 2024 and are looking to repeat in this special World Cup Year of 2026.
This Tournament is a great way to showcase the beautiful game of soccer and bring attention to many Italian Regions that make up out local Italian/Canadian community.
Each team (Region) will consist of players between the ages of 17-40 years old. Stipulation is placed to ensure many players are of Italian descent and of Regional descent.
If you or any family member or Campani Regional player, and player of Italian Heritage are looking to participate and try out for the Campania Team we ask that you reply to the Association with interest.
We also would like to remind anyone that is interested that this tournament is very competitive with high level players presently playing in the VMSL Premier League, Under 21's League, and Division 1 League.
The Campania Del Mondo Society of British Columbia are endorsing the Regional Team and are recommending that its members, businesses, and private individuals support financially in any way they can. If you are interested in supporting our team we ask that you let the Association know and the team director will get back to you.
